Biography:
Sara Khan (born august 6, 1989) is an Indian television model/actress, who shot to fame via her debut role as Sadhna in the hit serial Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai.
Born in Bhopal, India, Khan started her career with modeling.  Although she had not watched any serials prior to landing the role of Sadhna in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai. she has stated, she always knew she wanted to act in a serial; a decision her parents were very supportive as well. Khan is also the winner of the Miss MP(Miss Madhya Pradesh) 2007 title. She recently appeared as a star contestant on the show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? alongside her on-screen sister Parul Chauhan. The two 'sisters' played the game for HelpAge India. She also appeared in Amul Star Voice of India 2 alongside Angad Hasija, Parul Chauhan, and Kinshuk Mahajan on September 20, 2008 as a celebrity guest. She also appeared on the popular TV show 10 Ka Dum, hosted by Salman Khan on 29 August, 2009.
She is a muslim and recently married Ali Merchant in a private nikah ceremony. Ali Merchant who appeared on Nach Baliye 4 with sara is currently playing roles in Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Zee TV's Ek Thi Rajkumari.
