Biography:
Ankita made her debut on the small screen from Pavitra Rishta, but it is not her first serial to be signed.  Earlier she was selected for NDTV Imagine's show- Baali Umar Ko Salam but that serial never went on air. And then she got selected for Ekta's show- Pavitra Rishta.
Ankita's career basically started when she was selected for the first season of Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. Due to that show she came from Indore to Mumbai. She even won the best dancer award in the show. But that show didn’t help her much in her career. Though she got some print ads and dance shows but never got the desired break.
Then she got selected for the female lead of NDTV Imagine's show- Baali Umar Ko Salam. But that show never took off. Finally Ankita got Pavitra Rishta and thus she entered Ekta's camp. Now Ankita is really happy to start her career from such a big banner.
